Hibiscus is looking for someone who is motivated and passionate about the rights of foreign national women affected by the criminal justice system. In particular, anyone with knowledge of the critical themes related to Hibiscus’ work including the criminal justice system and rehabilitation, immigration, and human trafficking.
We are looking for a candidate, preferably, with successful fundraising experience (in particular with Trust & Foundations, statutory bids, and/or corporate donations) or else with excellent writing, research, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Purpose of Role
The purpose of this role is to help develop and implement Hibiscus’
Fundraising & Partnerships Strategy, primarily through fundraising
Fundraising activities will focus on application writing, prospect
research, and grant management for Trust & Foundations and
Corporate grants, as well as for statutory bids. The aim being to
meet Hibiscus’ fundraising targets, grow its income, and diversify
Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
Duration: 12 months fixed term (possible extension subject to funding)
Hours: 21 hours per week (0.6FTE)
Reporting to: Director of Operations
Location: Hibiscus’ London office or homeworking – depending on candidate. (Hibiscus is currently operating a home-working policy during the COVID-19 pandemic for non frontline workers).
There may be a requirement to travel occasionally across London
and beyond to any of the partners with whom Hibiscus works.
