CELEBRATING ROMA WOMEN
11 Apr 2017

CELEBRATING ROMA WOMEN

Hibiscus Initiatives held a day of celebration and awareness raising on Friday 7th April 2017. We had interactive workshops, art workshops, live music and traditional Romanian food. This event was in collaboration with The Roma Support Group, art therapist Alessandra Agnese and live music from the Sandel Piticu Band.

We would like to thank everyone who attended. We hope the event was insightful and engaged all those who attended the awareness event.

Please watch a clip of our ‘I am a Roma Woman’ short film, produced as part of the Celebrating Roman Women project. For a full-length film, please contact Anu Liisanantti at Hibiscus: anu@hibiscus.org.uk
