The Chief Executive will ensure that Hibiscus Initiatives upholds its mission by developing and sustaining high-quality gender specific services for FN/BMER women in custody, in the wider community, women and men in detention and families facing removal. The Chief Executive will work collaboratively to influence change to improve the situation of their clients and ensure the financial security of the organisation.
As Chief Executive, you will be responsible for providing leadership to a dedicated staff team with expert knowledge in their fields, to allow delivery on current strategic priorities. These priorities include increasing client provision, involvement and participation; Improving and extending partnerships and collaboration; and Improving quality and the strive to excellence. You will also be responsible for raising the profile of Hibiscus among stakeholders and the general public through effective but politically sensitive public relations and play a leading role in influencing and helping to secure relevant policy change.
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000
Duration: permanent – subject to funding
Hours: full-time / 35 hours
Location: Head Office in London, there may be occasional travel to meetings and the sites Hibiscus works from
